Take it outside

Walking Taco Bar

A taco bar can be messy, but not a WALKING Taco Bar! This recipe makes your favorite Mexican-inspired ingredients completely portable, so you can easily take your fiesta outside!

Ingredients

  • bag of Fritos

  • bag of Cheetos

  • rotisserie chicken, shredded

  • container of Publix sour cream

  • package Publix shredded Mexican cheese or similar

  • package of guacamole

  • tomatoes on the vine, diced

  • head of lettuce, cut into strips

  • taco chicken seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Taking a Publix-purchased rotisserie chicken and shredding it for serving is a great dinner shortcut. You can use the meat as-is or you can mix it up with a little taco chicken seasoning using the recipe below for your taco bar.

  2. Set out all of your ingredients for people to load up their cups. Let each person put their personal tacos together just how they like them. For details on how to make the personalized cups scroll down.

  3. Optional Taco Chicken Seasoning
    ¼ tsp. black pepper
    ½ tsp. salt
    ½ tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    ½ tsp. paprika
    ½ tsp. garlic powder

Mix all seasonings together in a small bowl. Pour over shredded chicken and stir until completely blended.
